Horong Candle: Rose Chair
Horong
The collection takes its name from horong-bul (호롱불) — the traditional Korean oil lamp.
Each glass is wrapped in hanji (한지), a translucent paper that filters the candlelight into a soft, diffused glow, recalling the quiet warmth of a paper-screened lantern.
Every label and artwork is hand-pressed from linocut block, carrying natural variations that make each piece subtly unique. An expression within: Art of Burning.
Fragrance
Notes: Rose, Jasmine, Musk, Moss, Pear
Sitting on an old chair, with rose and musk lingering in the air, luminous and enveloping.
Delicate rose and jasmine set the tone, softened by ambrette and moss for subtle depth. Hints of pear and citrus bring brightness, while musky undertones darken into warmth. Sandalwood and cedarwood finish the blend, leaving an atmosphere steeped in florals and musk, soft but enduring.
We use 100% vegetable wax and cotton wick, along with the highest grade fragrance oils.
