Horong Candle: Corner Bodega

Horong

The collection takes its name from horong-bul (호롱불) — the traditional Korean oil lamp.
Each glass is wrapped in hanji (한지), a translucent paper that filters the candlelight into a soft, diffused glow, recalling the quiet warmth of a paper-screened lantern.
Every label and artwork is hand-pressed from linocut block, carrying natural variations that make each piece subtly unique. An expression within: Art of Burning.

Fragrance

Notes: Cedarwood, Fig, Black Tea, Musk

A corner bodega in the late afternoon, golden light passing through a veil of tobacco smoke, warm and suspended in the air.

Spice and smokiness open with immediacy, unfolding into leathery notes of black tea and bay leaf. Cedarwood and vetiver ground the heart, while musk and incense carry the fragrance into depth — textured, atmospheric, and quietly magnetic.

We use 100% vegetable wax and cotton wick, along with the highest grade fragrance oils.
